The structure of the diamond roller
Diamond rollers are usually composed of diamond, nickel-plated layer, reinforcement layer and matrix.
1. Diamond is mainly used for cutting. It is used to dress the grinding wheel. The surface of the grinding wheel is the same as that of the roller, but the direction is opposite.
2. The nickel-plated layer mainly acts as a support and bonding agent, increasing the holding force and firmly holding the diamond on the plating layer to prevent the diamond from falling off.
3. The reinforcement layer is mainly used to increase strength and prevent deformation. The matrix is mainly used for reference conversion and connection. The inner hole is used to connect the trimming device on the machine tool. The outer diameter connects the electroforming layer and the diamond layer through the reinforcement layer.
The working principle of diamond roller
By installing on the dressing device of the grinder, the diamond roller dresses the ordinary ceramic grinding wheel or CBN grinding wheel.
