一:Development of Diamond Bead Wire Saw Technology

In 1978, the first diamond string bead rope (hereinafter referred to as string bead rope) cutting test was successfully carried out in APUAN Stone Mine, Italy, which marked the arrival of revolutionary changes in the stone mining and processing industry, and the stone mining entered a modern processing era. By 1990, the first CNC wire saw for cutting special-shaped stone was put into use, and bead wire saw technology began to enter the era of high-tech CNC. In the mid-1990s, the successful application of multi-rope side-by-side cutting technology challenged the traditional cutting methods of frame sawpanels directly, making the high-efficiency and low-cost cutting of large or super-large plates a reality. In recent years, diamond bead rope saw has been successfully applied and popularized in large-scale building component demolition project due to its characteristics of short preparation time, flexible cutting, low noise, low dust, low pollution and energy saving, making it the first choice of "green" demolition tools in the 21st century.

二:Manufacturing Technology of Diamond Bead Rope

At present, the manufacturing technology of Diamond Beads is mainly electroplating and hot-pressing sintering, and the latter is dominant.

Although some Taiwanese scholars have successfully manufactured Brazed Diamond Beads by brazing method, large-scale engineering applications have not yet been realized.

(1) Sintered beads have high wear resistance.

(2) Compared with hot-pressed sintered beads, electroplated diamond beads are relatively simple and more conducive to small diameter beads.

It is not suitable for cutting granite. At present, it is mainly used for cutting soft materials such as marble.
